Did Sam Woolf Make American Idol's Top Six?

A contestant on American Idol, Sam Woolf has relatives who live in Sudbury.

A few weeks ago, Sam Woolf narrowly avoided elimination on American Idol. Now, he's one of the final six contestants left on the popular singing competition.

On Thursday night's episode, the teenager with Sudbury ties found out that he was not a member of the bottom three as the results were read.

That means Woolf moved on to sing another week, as the show continues with another episode on Wednesday.

It was Dexter Roberts, a country artist, who was eliminated during Thursday night's results show.

Woolf's father Scott Woolf, and Aunt and Uncle Laura and Tod Woolf live in Sudbury. He also has connections to Boston as he has an offer of admissions to Berklee College for the fall.
