Business of the Week: WoodsEdge Children's Center

Highlighting a local business every week.

Welcome to our weekly Business of the Week feature, where we highlight a business in town.

All businesses we highlight are listed in our business directory.

This week's spotlight is on WoodsEdge Children's Center.

Founded in 1989, WoodsEdge Children's Center is a child care and educational center intended to offer small classroom sizes in a nurturing and home-like setting. On the property are two buildings and three playgrounds set in a scenic area of Sudbury. Students are separated into six classes: Infants (2 months - 15 months), young toddlers (15 months - 24 months), toddlers (24 months - approximately 30 months), preschool one and preschool two (approximately 30 months and potty-trained to 48 months), and preschool three (approximately 48 months to kindergarten-ready).

Is your business listed on Sudbury Patch? If so, did you know you can claim that listing? It's free to do and we have a great video that explains the process.

And don't forget to rate and review the businesses on Sudbury Patch. Here's how.

Depends on the teacher. Had a great year and an awful year there. Sudbury Public Preschool was the next stop and hands down cant beat it.

The playgrounds and indoor gym are awesome - plenty of space and stuff to do for the kids even in bad weather and the teachers outwardly care about the kids. I agree with the poster above, the Preschool did a fantastic job prepping my oldest for elementary school and I am not at all worried about that aspect of transition when it comes time for my youngest. They prepared us for it too by doing parent conferences, evaluations and holding a curriculum night - we weren't getting any of that at our old center. The infant/toddler teachers were so nurturing for my little one but the main building itself could use some updating. Overall, our experience has been fantastic!
