"I love frozen yogurt and I love the concept of self serve," he said in December. "It's a fun, family activity. I did a lot of research. When I came across this, it was an exciting place, very upbeat and family friendly."

Customers can expect to find something different every week at the self-serve shop. Polcari plans on having about 50 flavors of frozen yogurt, offering about 16 every week, and rotating them.

"The product will be good," Polcari said. "I hope to bring a twist to it."

At T-WISTED customers will be able to choose take-out or eat-it. Polcari plans to set up window bars with stools, TVs and play music.

And frozen yogurt won't be the only product in the store. Italian cookies, espresso, cappuccino and hot chocolate are among the other items that will be on the menu.

The grand opening is planned in about two weeks.
