New Sudbury Family Fitness Club Offering Fall Special

Julia Walderzak, owner and creator of H2K, is offering a 15 percent discount until Aug. 15. Fall sessions begin in September.

(CORRECTION: The open house is on Sept. 7.)

H2K, or Happy Healthy Kids Fitness Studio, opened three short months ago in Sudbury but already has made a positive impact.

Julia Walderzak, owner and creator of H2K, is collaborating with Sudbury Park and Recreation to start two adaptive programs for kids with special needs while preparing to start a fall program for kids and parents set to begin the second week of September.

"People are now just starting to find out about us and we’ve been here for three months. But it’s (been through) a lot of word of mouth which I’m surprised about," Walderzak says. "When we are getting calls it’s been really good feedback. We’ve been getting positive feedback and people seem to be very supportive of it."

Families looking to join Sudbury's newest fitness club can take advantage of a 15 percent discount if they sign up before Aug. 15.

"The community is really starting to come together and recognize us," Walderzak says. "They are really excited about all the fitness programs that we are offering.

"The clients that we do have I feel very fortunate because they are amazing. They’re trying to help out with the studio and promote it as much as possible. They really believe in what we’re doing."

Families thinking of joining are encouraged to visit the Boston Post Road location, check out the studio and a class, and register sooner rather than later.

There is also an open house scheduled for Sept. 7 from noon to 2 p.m., and Walderzak says she's working on a special surprise for that day, trying to book a former U.S. gold medal bob sledding Olympian.

"We’ll be offering 10 percent off for that day only," she says.
