Sudbury Makes List of Wealthiest Zip Codes in America

In the list compiled by Business Insider, Sudbury came in tied for No. 1.

Business Insider recently published a Top 15 list of wealthiest zip codes in America, and Sudbury found itself making the cut.

To establish the list, Business Insider used a research engine called FindTheBest, which used data based on five-year averages to sort the percentage of households making more than $150,000 per year.

Number one on the list is Short Hills, New Jersey, which has a population of 12,966 and 69.4% of its households making more than $150,000.

Sudbury, meanwhile, was tied for No. 12 on the list with Clifton, Virginia.

According to the list, Sudbury has 17,712 residents, and 56.8% of them are making more than $150,000 per year.

"Sudbury is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, with a rich colonial history, including its Wayside Inn which is the country’s oldest operating inn," the story said in describing Sudbury.

Sudbury was positioned just behind the only other Massachusetts town on the list. Wellesley Hills came in at No. 11 with 57.5% of its residents making more than $150,000 per year.
