Sudbury Resident Named Board Member for Entrepreneurs’ Organization

Chuck Katz was named Entrepreneurs' Organization Finance Chair.

A local organization for self-starting businessmen and businesswomen recently announced its Board of Directors, which includes a high-ranking Sudbury resident.

The Boston chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization announced on Wednesday that Judith Briggs, the president of several businesses was chosen as the president of Boston EO.

Among the other board members is Chuck Katz, the treasurer and COO of GEBSCO Realty Corp. Katz is a Sudbury resident and was named the EO Finance Chair.

In order to join Entrepreneurs' Organization, entrepreneurs must be a founder, owner or controlling shareholder of a company with a gross annual sales total that exceeds $1 million.

Entrepreneurs' Organization is a global business network of over 9,500 business owners in 131 chapters and more than 40 countries.

“As our chapter continues to grow, it’s clear to see that entrepreneurship is alive and well in Boston,” said new chapter president Judy Briggs. “In fact, in a recent global entrepreneurship survey, EO Boston ranked first in the region for predictions of improvement in the nation’s economy. We’re excited to have a board that is fully engaged both around EO and the business community in Boston, we are looking forward to a great new year for the chapter. We plan to challenge the status quo and make an impact on our fellow members.”
