This place is really good. The food is tasty and served in good proportions. I tried - Samosa chaat(not mentioned in the menu), navratan korma, maa ki daal, paan ice cream, and none of the dishes were disappointing.
The place decor is very nice - same as Pongal 2 and the staff is very accommodating and highly efficient.

10/20/2013Tried the Soul of India for the first time last night. Although the parking lot was near full, inside seemed spacious and cozy, not over crowded.
The menu was diverse and had lots of very interesting items. We all selected vegetarian dishes. Everything we ordered was perfectly made and well presented. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

This place was amazing! The food was perfect in every way. The melding of spices done perfectly for an amazing taste sensation.
I went with my wife and 2 of my daughters. We all had different dishes and of course there was much sharing. Everything I tasted was wonderful.
We are all vegan (or very close to it) so we particularly liked the vegetable based dishes that were offered, and there were more than enough to make any non-meat eater happy.
Also, the service was top notch. Very friendly and unobtrusive but always right on the spot if you needed anything. Granted, it was not very crowded on a Monday evening but nonetheless, they did an excellent job.
Highly recommended. We will be going back!
