Community Corner

ALPHA being offered at Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC)

Alpha is a ten week course
that explores the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment.
Through a series of talks and small group discussion, participants will engage
in topics such as, 'Who is Jesus?', 'Is there more to life than this?', 'How
can we have faith?'. More than 15 million people worldwide have been part of
the Alpha course. Alpha is being run by churches of every denomination,
including Episcopal, Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Baptist, Presbyterian,
Methodist, Pentecostal, Salvation Army and non-denominational churches.
Wherever the course is being held, all churches provide the same material,
making alterations only to suit local culture. People come from many different
backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints - but all come with the same
objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any real relevance for their
lives.

       There
will be an Introductory Dinner at TCC on Wednesday evening, January 29 from 6:45P-8:45P
in RM 204. The topic to be explored will be “Is There More To This Life?”

 Alpha dates for
Winter/Spring 2014 weekly meetings (Wednesday evenings from 6:45P-8:45P) will
be February 5th - April 9th.
