Author Jennifer Zobair at Goodnow Library

Author Jennifer Zobair will discuss her debut novel, "Painted Hands," an engaging and provocative tale of friendship and the love lives of American Muslim women that has been described as "The Namesake" meets "Sex and the City."   Jennifer grew up in Iowa and attended Georgetown Law School.  She practiced corporate and immigration law in New York and Michigan before before beginning her writing career. As a convert to Islam, she has been a strong advocate for Muslim women's rights. She will speak about her inspirations for writing this book and will be available for book signing.
