Bridges Together Growing Older, Growing Together

Wanted:
Grandparents & Older Friends to Volunteer in 4th Grade
Classrooms

We are looking for
grandparents and other older adults in the community to participate in a
special program called Bridges:  Growing Older, Growing Together.
Volunteers are invited to spend one hour per week for six weeks in an
elementary school classroom at Haynes or Noyes, working in small groups with
children under the direction of a classroom teacher.  This fun and
educational program enhances children’s English Language Arts skills and leads
to mutual understanding, respect, and friendship.

Volunteers do NOT need to
live in Sudbury. Classes begin the week of October 14 and run until November
25.   For more information, please contact Chris Hammer at (978)
239-6764 or SudburyBridges@gmail.com
or go to www.BridgesTogether.org.
