Elin Hilderbrand Comes to the Goodnow Library

Meet this best-selling author



Sudbury fans of Elin Hilderbrand are in for a special treat Thursday, September 12, when the beach-book superstar makes a personal appearance at the Goodnow Library.

Hilderbrand’s stories of life, love and heartbreak on Nantucket have a strong following in Sudbury, where many residents are frequent visitors to the resort island. She will discuss her latest work, “Beautiful Day,” which focuses on two families who come to the island to celebrate a wedding – following a playbook prepared by the bride’s late mother. “Beautiful Day” is currently No. 7 on The New York Times hardcover fiction best sellers list.

Hilderbrand is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa, where she was a teaching fellow. She is the author of twelve novels. She lives on Nantucket with her husband and their three children.

The Goodnow Library Foundation is hosting Hilderbrand’s visit.
