Auditions for "The Wizard of Oz"

Metrowest Family Theater is seeking men, women, and children ages 7 and older for its June production of "The Wizard of Oz" to be presented at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown (Mosesian Theater).

Auditions will be held Sunday, March 3 at 12pm and Tuesday, March 5 at 8pm (attend one).  All will be taught a dance combination and will be asked to sing 32 bars of a song in the style of "Oz."  Please dress comfortably for dancing and bring sheet music in the key you wish to sing in (accompanist provided).  Please bring a recent photo and resume, if you have one.  Call backs, if necessary, will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30pm.


 


Rehearsals run March 14 and 28 from 1-5pm and then May 5-June 16 (Sundays 1-5, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10pm) all at The Performing Arts Connection in Sudbury.  Every effort will be made to release young children early on school nights.  Tech rehearsals evenings of June 17, 18, and 19 with performances June 20-22 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown (Mosesian Theater). 


 


All who are cast are expected to pay a production fee ($40 adults, $150 children 17 and under)
