Thursday Garden Club of Sudbury Learns About Potager Gardens
On February 14, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.at the Goodnow Library, the Thursday Gared Club of Sudbury will host Betsy Grecoe with a Potager Workshop: Design Your own Kitchen Garden. Ms. Grecoe is a past-president of the Tewksbury Garden Club and former English teacher who has traveled extensively, visiting gardens in the united States. She began presenting programs when she retired..
This program will begin with images of kitchen gardens to generate ideas. Then we will shift to a workshop program as participants use materials and information to plan an actual garden. Each participant will leave with a drawing suitable to use to create a potager garden

The Thursday Garden Club sponsors monthly meetings in flower arranging, horticulture, and landscape design, provides scholarship money for a graduating L-S senior, and participates in a number of beautification projects in Sudbury, including the Daffodil Trail, community traffic island gardens, town center and Hosmer House holiday decorations, Grinnell Park clean-ups, and much more.
Founded in 1951 and a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, The Thursday Garden Club meets the second Thursday of each month from September to May.
