HOPEsudbury Collecting Used Musical Instruments June 14 at Twisted Frozen Yogurt

HOPEsudbury is collecting used musical instruments to donate to the Fitchburg Public Schools for 4th grade student musical instruction.

Has your high school student left his clarinet to gather dust in his closet? Or your middle school child decided she hates the trombone after you invested in purchasing one? Perhaps you found your college student’s old guitar while spring cleaning?

Your instrument will help supply the missing ingredient to give kids the earlier start to musical instruction that has been proven to correlate positively with academic and music success.

Instruments do not need to be in perfect working order. After repair, the instruments will be loaned to Fitchburg 4th grade students who do not have the means to rent or purchase instruments.

Please drop off your instrument at Twisted Frozen Yogurt in Rugged Bear Plaza Saturday June 14th from 12-5pm.  HOPEsudbury volunteers will be waiting to help unload your donation!  If you have an instrument to donate but are unable to drop it off on June 14, please contact Edie Ravenelle at eravenelle@comcast.net.
