Les Misérables is the classic epic musical based on the historical novel by Victor Hugo. Set in early nineteenth century France, Les Mis is a beloved tale of ill-fated idealism, honor and redemption set to a beautifully complex and haunting musical score. The School Edition has been specially adapted to meet the needs of young performers, while still maintaining the integrity of the story and the music. More than 100 LS students are involved on stage, in the orchestra pit, and behind the scenes. The production is directed by Carly Evans with music directed by Michael Bunting and conducted by Tom Grandprey.
