The Concord Film Project Presents the Straight story at The Umbrella

The Concord Film Project and The Umbrella Community Arts Center will welcome audiences for a screening of the Straight story, directed by David Lynch, on Tuesday, May 20. The second film in The Concord Film Project’s three-film series, the Straight story is a tale of determination and family ties, based on a true story. The Film follows Alvin Straight who, after learning that his brother has suffered a stroke, travels by ride-on lawnmower from his home in Iowa to his brother’s home in Wisconsin in hope of repairing their relationship.
