The Sudbury Historical Society to Present a Talk on the Reverend Israel Loring

The Sudbury Historical Society with presenter Jane Graham will
sponsor a talk on the Reverend Israel Loring of Sudbury (1682-1772) this
Sunday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sudbury Town Hall, 322 Concord Road.

Ms. Graham will discuss Rev. Loring who served as a
spiritual leader in Sudbury for sixty-six years and left behind extensive
journals of his time and tenure here. Reverend Loring made his home next door
to the Town Hall at what is now known as the Loring Parsonage. Be sure to take
a look at this architectural gem in our Town Center. Don’t miss this
opportunity to hear about the namesake for the Israel Loring Elementary School.

The talk is free for SHS members and a $5 donation is
suggested for non-members. Refreshments will be served after the program.
