Villagers Club hosts Kein Farley - "the irish music guy"

The Sudbury Villagers Club's meeting on Thursday, March 6th  will be held at Goodnow Library's Community Room at 9:30 am.   It opens with a short social followed by entertainment by Kevin Farley, "the irish music guy" getting us all ready for St Patrick's Day on the 17th!    After the presentation we will have a short business meeting before adjourning.

The Villagers club also sponsors various functions, such as, a Fall Frolic,  a Holiday Luncheon in December and an Annual Spring High Tea;   a Spring Luncheon usually concludes the social year.  In addition, the club works at various local Blood Drives, bakes Pies for Hosmer House's July 4th Bake Sale  which raises funds for the House's art preservation program,   collects for  Holiday and Spring baskets for the area needy,  visits Museums, schedules Theater and Bridge  parties,  sponsors a year-long Marathon Bridge group, as well as, a very active Book Browsers season. The club also donates generously to local worthy causes.

The monthly meetings are open to the public and we especially invite women who would like to know more about our club to join us to learn about our activities by attending the meeting.  The meetings are usually held at 9:30am on the first Thursday at the Goodnow Library  which is located at 21 Concord Road, just north of the Boston Post Road (US Rte#20)  near Sudbury's business center with ample parking in the rear.
