Book of Condolences for Michael Ronner at Goodnow Library

Services for the Sudbury Marine will be Friday and Saturday.

Sudbury residents wishing to send written condolences to the family of Lance Corporal Michael J. Ronner, a Sudbury Marine who was found dead on May 7 on the base of Camp Pendleton in California, can do so at .

According to Patty Houpt, founder of the Sudbury Military Support Network, a book of condolences has been placed in the library.

Funeral services for Ronner will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at .

Duckett Funeral Home will hold a wake on Friday from 4-8 p.m.

Ronner enlisted in the Marine Corps Jan. 11, 2010 and was assigned to 9th Communication Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif., according to a release from the Camp Pendleton Provost Marshal's Office.

His awards include the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
