Local Women's Tennis Team in Hunt for National Title
Team All Season recently won the New England Sectional title.
A group of local women from the Metrowest area and beyond recently captured the New England Sectional Champions for the United States Tennis Association Women’s 40 and over division.
All Season, which consists of Chris Perez and Jen Wolcott of Sudbury, Krisann Andonian and Dorcus Miller of Concord, Deb Hankey, Niki Mundel, Marylynne Bohn of Carlisle, Laura Semple and Bo Murphy of Groton, and Tara Spaulding, Jill Flavin, Den Downing and Heidi Holt of Acton, is now in Palm Springs, Calif., at the Nationals representing New England.
According to the USTA website, the team scored seven match victories to one loss to capture the New England Sectional title.
The Nationals begin on Oct. 18.
