HOPEsudbury donated a new flagpole at Goodnow Library to the Town of Sudbury on Saturday in honor of the organization’s 10th anniversary. The Sudbury Military Support Network donated the flag.

Thanks was given to everyone who attended and those who helped to organize the lovely event:

American Legion Post 191 and Dan & Matt Hamilton, sons of Lt. Col. Chris Hamilton, who helped raise the flag; Brian Stearns, Sudbury Veterans Agent; Rev. Tom O’Brien, , UCC; Bugler Alan Manter; L-S junior Jessica Newman, who sang the National Anthem;  Selectman John Drobinski; Patty Houpt, Sudbury Military Support Network; Jill Browne and Esme Green, ; Assistant Town Manager Maryanne Bilodeau, and Jim Kelly and Art Richard, .

HOPEsudbury’s anniversary gift to the Town also included funds for flowers and plantings around the flagpole at the September 11 Memorial Garden in Heritage Park.
