Service for Michael Ronner Likely May 19

Arrangements for the Sudbury Marine will be through Duckett Funeral Home.

A planned service for Lance Corporal Michael Ronner, a Sudbury Marine who was found dead at Camp Pendleton in California on Monday morning, is closer to being finalized.

According to Patty Houpt, founder of the Sudbury Military Support Network, Ronner's body is expected to arrive from California on Wednesday. Plans for a service "are pretty firm unless other delays arise," Houpt said, and will be held Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m., at .

Originally, it was believed Ronner's body would be returned home between tomorrow and Monday.

Arrangements will be through

"We will be looking for food donations for the collation in the church hall following the service," Houpt said. "It will be a military funeral, and burial will be in Town Center."
