This weeks LS girls swim team news
The LS girls had a tough meet against Westford Academy with a final score of 88-93. It was a great opportunity for the girls team to test their ability against the reigning State Champions.
In the 200 Medley Relay the girls relay team of Caroline Goswami, Mirrah Papovsky, Michela Eckhouse, and Jenny Genovese took 2nd place.
Katherine O’Shea won the 200 Freestyle and Caroline Thomas came in 5th place.

In the 200 Individual Medley Courtney Brown finished in 2nd place while Jillian Rastinejad, and Michela Eckhouse took 4th and 5th place.
Ansley Baker took 1st place in the 50 Freestyle; Jenny Genovese and Caroline Goswami took 3rd and 4th place.

The girls diving was won by Kim Yang and Katie Quirk scored into 4th place.
In the 100 Butterfly Eckhouse finished in 3rd place behind her was Thomas, finishing in 4th place.
Katherine O’Shea, Emily Huang, and Jenny Genovese placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the 100 Freestyle.
Courtney Brown finished in 1st and Lexi Barrera took 5th place in the 500 Freestyle.
Lexi Barrera, Courtney Brown, Ansley Baker, and Katherine O’Shea placed in 2nd for the 200 Freestyle Relay.
In the 100 Backstroke Caroline Goswami took 4th place and Nika Cinicola took 5th place.
Ansley Baker won the 100 Breaststroke and Caroline Hultin finished in 4th place.
In the final event of the meet the girls 400 Freestyle Relay of Caroline Thomas, Courtney Brown, Ansley Baker, and Katherine O’Shea finished in 2nd place.
