This weeks News from the LS Boys Swim Team.

The Lincoln-Sudbury boys suffered a tough loss against the Westford Academy boys on Tuesday afternoon. The final score was 98-82.

The meet began with the 200 medley relay where the L-S boys team of Genovese, Wilkins, Billig and Edwards finished second, and the team of Knightly, McGean, Hogan and Walker finished fourth.

In the 200 freestyle Rakitin, Thomas and Genovese placed 3rd, 5th and 6th, respectively.

The 200 IM followed where Billig placed second, Kennedy placed fifth and Knightly finished in sixth place.

The 50 yard freestyle came next. Knightly placed second, Rakitin in fifth and Walker in sixth. Abdal-Khabir, Joachim, Wilkins and Foscolos also competed.

In diving the LS divers, Wilkins and Henderson, placed first and second, respectively.

The 100 yard butterfly followed diving. Edwards placed second, Billig in third and Joachim in sixth.

In the 100 yard freestyle Knightly finished third, and Cehelsky in fifth. Yamron also competed in the event.

In the 500 yard freestyle Wilkins placed second, Hogan fourth and Thomas sixth.

The men’s 200 freestyle relay team of Hogan, Rakitin, Knightly and Walker finished in second. The team of Cehelsky, Cincotta, Joachim and Knightly finished on fourth place and the team of Yamron, Alie, Foscolos and Abdal-Khabir finished sixth.

In the 100 yard backstroke Edwards finished in first, Genovese in fourth and Cincotta in sixth.

The 100 yard breastroke followed in which Wilkins finished first, Hogan second and McGean third.

The meet finished with the 400 yard freestyle relay in which the team of Rakitin, Billig, Edwards and Wilkins finished first and the team of Thomas, Kennedy, Joachim and Genovese finished second.
