In the two events that followed (the 200 Individual medley and the 50 freestyle) the girls took first, second, and fourth, with Jillian Rastinejad and Shannon Johnson dominating the competition in the 200 IM and Lexi Barrera and Katherine O'Shea posting strong times in the freestyle.

Diving followed, an impressive event in which all of the LS girls did very well. Kim Yang, Katie Quirk, Katie Rosseel, and Olivia Ference all performed beautifully, and helped their teammates secure the win.

Caroline Thomas and Ansley Baker took first and second in the 100 fly, expanding the girls lead. Freshman Courntey Brown impressed everyone with her outstanding swim in the 100 freestyle, taking first by over six seconds. The 500 freestyle followed, O'Shea took first and Catherine Oppenheim and Ingrid Hjerpe also placed, scoring helpful points for the girls team.

Eckhouse, Johnson, Barrera, and Genovese made up the first place team in the 200 freestyle relay and crushed the rest of the field. Nika Cinacola, Jenny Genovese, and Mariah Prosansky took first, third, and sixth in the 100 backstroke. In the 100 breaststroke Ruiyi Gao, Maryjo Samojla, and Merideth Ackley all swam well. In the 400 freestyle relay the teams of Thomas, Baker, Brown, and O'Shea and Eckhouse, Nevils, Huang, and Iskandar closed out the meet on a good note taking first and second.

The Lincoln Sudbury girls had yet another great meet and further exemplified their skill and determination. The girls hope to continue this success and continue to prove that they can be one of the top teams in the DCL. The girls next meet is next Tuesday, January 7th, against the powerhouse, Westford Academy.
