Denny Emanuel Donaldson died peacefully in her home on Dec. 23, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lakewood, Ohio, to Greek parents.
Denny graduated from Flora Stone Mather (now Case Western Reserve University) with a bachelors degree in sociology. Denny married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Donaldson, in 1949, and they moved to Cambridge where Ralph completed a masters degree in physics at Harvard.
In 1962 they moved to Sudbury with their two young daughters, where the First Parish Church figured prominently in the Donaldsons lives, and Denny sang in the church choir. Music was always central in Dennys life.
In addition to music, Denny enjoyed painting and crafts.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Parish Church in Sudbury on Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
