Late Sudbury Pines Resident Served in U.S. Army During Korean War

Mr. James J. Logan, 81, of Framingham, died on Friday July 4, 2014 at the Sudbury Pines Extended Care Facility in Sudbury. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth M. (DeStefano) Logan, who died in August of 2002.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Edward and Florence (Gearing) Logan he had been a resident of Framingham for 50 years.

He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and prior to retirement was an insurance adjuster for American Mutual Life Insurance Co.

Logan is survived by his twin sons, James A. Logan and his wife Christine of Franklin, MA and Kevin E. Logan and his wife Karen of Franklin, TN: his son, Raymond P. Logan and his wife Susan of Plymouth: his twin daughters, Joyce Pineau and her husband Louis of Bellingham and Nancy Prendergast and her husband Frank of Windham, New Hampshire and 11 grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St. George's Church, 74 School St., Framingham (Saxonville). Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
