Late Woman, 65, Loved Concerts on the Common and Dancing

Linda Jean Cotterly, a Weston resident, passed away earlier this month in Sudbury.

The following is an obituary courtesy of Joyce Funeral Home.

Linda Jean (Fletcher) Cotterly, of Weston, formerly of Waltham, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Wingate at Sudbury. She was 65.

Linda was born March 3, 1949 in Jamaica Plain, a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Hansen) Fletcher. She was a graduate of Waltham High School and had been a Waltham resident for many years before moving to Weston in 1999.

She worked as an administrative assistant for almost 30 years at TE Connectivity in Norwood before retiring this year.

Linda loved traveling whether it was a weekend away with her girlfriends or trips with her family. Her much loved dog, 'Pally', was a huge part of her life. She also loved her Boston Red Sox, music, concerts on the common and dancing.

In death Linda joins her siblings, David H. Fletcher and Constance A. LeBlanc.

She leaves her daughter, Lisa A. Cotterly-McKenna and her husband, Dean, of Marlborough; her brother, William B. Fletcher of Arlington; three grandchildren, Akasha, Samantha and Faith McKenna and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston 02115.
