Joyce Hull was born in Cambridge and survived by her son, a Sudbury resident.

The following is an obituary courtesy of Duckett Funeral Home of J.S. Waterman.

Joyce Hull, beloved daughter, wife and mother, passed away peacefully on April 9 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Joyce will be sorely missed by her son, Scott Hull of Sudbury and Waltham and her many friends; and will forever be remembered for her grace, generosity and kindness. Joyce was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the fourth child to the late Peter and Anna (Saba) Christy and she is also survived by her sister, Marian Christy of Belmont; her brother, Charles Christy Topsham, Maine; and her sister, Helen Cannon of Rawley, NC.

She was married to the late Howard Hull, with whom she enjoyed a full and loving life with their son, Scott. In addition to the love and support of her son, Joyce was supported by her family and many friends in her long journey with her illness and she came to look upon her care providers at Emerson Hospital's Bethke Cancer Center as her extended family.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Duckett-J.S. Waterman and Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury. The funeral service will be Monday, April 14, at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by interment at New North Cemetery in Sudbury.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Sunday, April 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorial donations in her memory and in honor of Joyce Hull should be directed to The Bethke Cancer Center, 133 ORNAC, Concord, MA 01742.
