A Board of Selectmen more representative of our town, community and society

Sudbury is and always has been a vibrant community where family comes first with a strong emphasis on our schools-see Little Red School House. At the time our town was founded 375 years ago, our current Board of Selectmen would have fit right in. Mostly aging white males establishing the town's foundation with a small amount of younger blood ready to bring forth new ideas. Fast forward to 2014, this board looks nothing like our town or society in general. Older white men no longer rule with exclusivity all the board rooms or the halls of congress. While they still might be the predominant members, women and other culturally diverse individuals bring new insight and ideas to the table everyday. My point is simple: we need more diversity on our BOS and Pat Brown with her fresh ideas and different point of view is that person. PLEASE HEAD TO THE POLS TODAY AND DONT BE AFRAID OF CHANGE!
