A Panel Discussion on Social Safety for Seniors: Scams, Abuse, and Resources

Are you aware of the latest scams that target senior citizens? Do you know how to identify abuse and to help a person experiencing abuse in later life? If the answer to either or both of these questions is "no," please join the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable for a panel discussion on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 7 PM in the Community Meeting Room of the Goodnow Library located at 21 Concord Road, Sudbury.

Panelists for the discussion will be Chief Scott Nix of the Sudbury Police Department; Katie Galenius, Director of Women's Programs at Greater Lynn Social Services; and Marissa Hamilton, Protective Worker at Minuteman Senior Services.

If you are unable to attend the evening program in Sudbury, a similar program will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 10:30 AM at the Wayland Council on Aging located in the WaylandTown Hall, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland. Please park behind the building and enter through the rear door.

Both programs are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
