1. GOVERNMENT: Conservation Commission meeting

The Commission will meet at 6:15 p.m. at Town Hall.

The agenda will include a continuation of the Johnson Farm 40B development at 189 Landham Road.

2. OUTDOORS: Summer Concert Series

With the help of contributions from local business, Sudbury is able to provide you with wonderful nights of family fun throughout the summer. Attend the eighth annual Summer Concert Series. Bring friends, family, a picnic dinner, a blanket or chairs, and maybe even your dancing shoes.

When: Tonight at 7 (Family Fun Night)

Where:  (Rain location - Gym)

Who: Everyone! Make a night of it and bring along a picnic dinner.

3. ART & ENTERTAINMENT: Summer at the Movies

On Mondays, the Sudbury Senior Center will show a smorgasbord of classic movies, documentaries and requests and serving popcorn and cold drinks at noon.

This week is Surf Week — wear your Hawaiian shirt to the movie and enjoy some Hawaiian pizza.

Endless Summer – 1966 – Unrated - The quintessential surf film directed and humorously narrated by Bruce Brown follows summer around the globe in 1966. Mike Hynson and Robert August ride the wild waters of Hawaii, Australia, Africa and other exotic locales in search of the perfect wave, strengthening their friendship and teaching natives along the way. This beautifully shot, laidback documentary captures a thrilling sport. 91 minutes.

4. GOVERNMENT: Board of Assessors meeting

The Board will meet at 7:45 p.m. at the Flynn Building.

5. CLASSES & LECTURES: Using yoru eReader with your eBooks

For those who own an electronic reading device, Goodnow Library has about 40,000 electronic titles available for lending. The library has both e-Book content to read and e-Audiobook content to listen to.

Bring your devices and questions to the library at 6:30 p.m. for Using Your eReader with Library eBooks to learn how to access library and/or other free content. Find answers to questions about:

  • Different e-Readers and audio devices &  the different filetypes they use.
  • Wireless downloads vs. USB downloads for Kindle and Nook (and more)
  • iPad/iPhone Apps
  • Kindle Fire/Nook Tablet/Kobo Vox Apps and sideloading
  • Configuring your device
  • Searching and downloading content
