A few tidbits to help you start your day.

1. FORECAST: Today — Sunny, with a high near 82. South wind 5 to 10 mph.; Tonight — Mostly clear, with a low around 57.

2. FOOD & DRINK: Although the calendar still says it's summer, it has felt more like fall. And with fall comes apple season. Fresh baked apple pies from First Parish Church of Stow and Acton are a 40-plus year fall tradition. Pies will be sold from the apple pie stand at the church on the Common in Stow, at the intersection of Routes 117 and 62. Pies will be available on Sept. 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30 starting at 10 a.m. until the pies are sold.

3. ART & ENTERTAINMENT: Join for a fun year of Hip-Hop in this special "boys only" class. Grades 3-5 are welcome to join - no experience necessary. The class meets on Saturdays from 11:15-noon beginning Sept. 15 thru the first week in May. Sign up for half a year (Sept-Dec) or the full year and save.
