Sudbury Angels book Drive is a success!
Despite two snow storms and two snow days, the Sudbury Angels Annual Book Drive to benefit the Fitchburg Public School system was an overwhelming success. A total of 8,691 books were collected, beating last years totals by more than 2,000. Books were collected at the elementary schools, Curtis Middle School, and the Boy Scouts. These donations keep the Red Raiders Lending Library viable, so that children in need have increased access to books. Kate Helman, coordinator of the book drive, extends a warm thank you to all of the volunteers who organized and mobilized to make this book drive a success, and the Sudbury community for their generosity.
