Thank You to Sudbury Voters
June 26, 2013
I would like to acknowledge and applaud the many Sudbury voters who came out on Tuesday and made their voices heard. We are a stronger community for the large turnout. It shows we care very much about our local government.
No matter which candidate you voted for, I believe you also cast a vote for civility, open-mindedness, and fairness. As a selectman, I will keep that in mind with every issue, every discussion, and every vote.

Mr. De Pompei and Mr. Gozdeck were vigorous, candid, and fair in their efforts to join the Board of Selectmen. They are gentlemen, and I salute their willingness to volunteer for public service. I hope they will continue to contribute, on or off a board or committee. As a vibrant community, we to need hear their voices, just as anyone would want to be heard and respected if in the same position.
I would like to thank all of those who gave to me so generously of their time, energy, and advice during this campaign. No candidate can mount a campaign alone, and the success of this one is due in large measure to their efforts. In particular, I wish to thank my wife, Gail-Ann, for her unflagging support and reminders to stay on track and not permit small distractions interfere with achieving the primary goal.

I shall do my best to measure up to the high standards and expectations that each Sudbury resident should expect of an elected official.
I ask all residents, regardless of viewpoint, to stay engaged, or become further involved in our town government. Sudbury is blessed with a population of diversely talented and energetic residents. Please share those talents with your town. I guarantee you will receive more than you give.
