Video Tribute: Remembering First Lt. Scott F. Milley

U.S. Army Ranger from Sudbury died in combat 3 years ago today.

First Lt. Scott F. Milley died Nov. 30, 2010, while serving as a member of the prestigious 10th Mountain Division as a U.S. Army Ranger.

His patrol came under small-arms fire in the Baraki Barak district of Afghanistan.

Milley graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 2005 and from the University of New Hampshire in 2009.

Since his death, the Lt. Scott F. Milley Ranger Foundation was created to honor his life. The organization seeks to accomplish this by raising funds through traditional fundraising activities and then using these funds to provide scholarships to individuals with need and with a record of service and leadership.
