Argument Between Two Sudbury Brothers Ends in Arrest for One

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A call to the Sudbury Police Department early Friday morning regarding a domestic problem on Marlboro Road resulted in the arrest of a Sudbury man.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, two brothers at the residence were involved in an argument when it escalated to a simple assault and battery.

One of the brothers then allegedly threw a painting at the other brother.

After responding officers completed an investigation, Daniel Murphy, 18, of 208 Marlboro Road, was arrested and charged with:

  • Domestic assault and battery;
  • Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the painting).

Murphy was bailed out at 5:10 a.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court later in the day.
