Blizzard Jogger, Accidents and More From the Sudbury Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department the weekend of Feb. 9-10:

Feb. 9

  • Officers were dispatched to Wingate of Sudbury for an accident in the parking lot. One car was damaged. No injuries reported.
  • A plow driver on Old Lancaster Road noticed a screen door to a home that was open. Police were asked to check it out. Nothing criminal found.
  • A Concord Road resident reported a possible phone scam.
  • There were 18 Fire Department calls and three calls for disabled cars.
  • A jogger was reported running in the middle of the blizzard on Concord Road at about 8 p.m. The jogger was located on Morse Road and was advised about the hazard he was creating for himself.

  • Officers were dispatched to Boston Post Road for a two-car accident. No injuries reported; one car towed.
  • A Concord Road resident reported a possible phone scam.
  • Two bicyclists were reported on Hudson Road just before 10 p.m.
  • A car was reported off the road on Peakham Road.
  • There were six fire department calls and one for a disabled car.
