Dirt Bike Riders Vandalize Private Property in Sudbury

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A caller from the Old Framingham and Nobscot road area alerted the Sudbury Police Department on Sept. 29 of two dirt bike riders who were damaging the fields.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, the property owner estimated the damage was at least $250.

The dirt bike riders were last seen heading toward Framingham at about 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 29.

Grady said the department may have identification of the alleged riders but no charges have been made as of Sept. 30.

The case is under investigation.

In other police news from the weekend:

  • Officers were dispatched to the Wayside Inn for a report of vandalism. According to Grady someone was seen carving into the building. No charges were issued.
  • Officers responded to the Wayside Inn for a report of a disturbance. Grady said there was a loud party after the conclusion of the Colonial Faire & Muster of Companies of Fyfe and Drum. The party-goers were asked to cease the festivities. No charges were issued.
