Domestic Call Ends in Arrest of Milton Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A call to the Sudbury Police Department on Aug. 19 regarding a domestic issue resulted in the arrest of a Milton man.

According to Chief Scott Nix, officers responded to the Longfellow Glen apartment complex on Boston Post Road at about 5:20 a.m.

After an investigation was completed, Chidera Ihenetu, 24, of 1365 Canton Ave., was arrested and charged with wanton destruction of property.

Nix said officers found damage to a door.

Ihenetu was held until his arraignment later that day at Framingham District Court.

In other police news from Aug. 19:

  • A Hudson Road resident reported seeing a male and female acting in a suspicious manner. The resident said she thought the couple was trying to break into a residence. Responding officers found two cars in the area but nothing criminal was reported.
  • A resident of the Longfellow Glen apartment complex reported her boyfriend refused to leave after they got into a verbal argument. The boyfriend left before officers arrived. The resident called about 45 minutes later to say he returned for his personal belongings. He again was gone when officers arrived. Nix said arrangements were made to tell him where he could pick up his belongings.
