Dorchester Man Arrested on Warrant in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Nov. 8 resulted in the arrest of a Dorchester resident.

According to Sgt. Todd Eadie, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road pulled over a motorist at about 5:45 p.m.

After the officer completed an investigation, it was found David Iovanna, 39, of 32 Supple Road, Apt. 2, had a warrant out for his arrest.

Eadie said the warrant was out of Boston District Court for a charge of failure to pay fines.

Iovanna was also charged by the Sudbury officer for failure to appear upon recognizance.

He was released at 8:21 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Nov. 12.
