Father, Son Face 10 Drug Charges in Sudbury
The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Oct. 1 resulted in the arrest of two men.
According to Sgt. Richard MacLean, an officer on patrol on Peakham Road witnessed a car being driven at about 8:30 a.m. by Jeffrey J. McKinnon, 42, of 47 Old Meadow Road in Sudbury. The officer knew McKinnon had a revoked license and pulled him over.
After an investigation was completed, McKinnon was arrested and charged with:
- Subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license;
- 2 counts of possession of a class B drug (methodone hydrochloride);
- 3 counts of possession of a class C drug (clonazepam).
The younger McKinnon was arrested on the same drug charges as his father. He also had two warrants out for his arrest in Marlborough. The warrants were for charges of larceny over $250 and forgery of a check.
Neither man had a prescription for those drugs, MacLean said.
Both men were arraigned at Framingham District Court later in the day.
The older McKinnon did not make bail, MacLean said, and is being held in the Middlesex House of Corrections in Billerica.
