Framingham Man Arrested on Drug, Alcohol Charges in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A two-car accident on Aug. 22 at 400 Boston Post Road resulted in the arrest of a Framingham man.

According to Sgt. James Espinosa, officers responded to the scene at about 5:50 p.m. The report said there was no visible damage to either car. No injuries were reported.

After an investigation was completed, Brian Leary, 57, of 24 Angelica Drive, was arrested and charged with:

  • Following too close;
  • Operating under the influence of alcohol;
  • Operating under the influence of drugs.
Espinosa was not allowed to say what the drugs were due to the ongoing investigation.

Leary was released at 8:22 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Aug. 23.
