Framingham Man Faces Multiple Motor Vehicle Charges in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Sunday resulted in the arrest of a Framingham man.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, the responding officer pulled over Flamarion Melo, 28, of 154 Beacon St., Apt. 0, on Goodman's Hill Road at about 9:28 p.m.

After an investigation was completed, Melo was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license;
  • Motor vehicle by-law violation (following too close).

Nix said Melo was witnessed following another car and not the officer's car.

Melo was released at 11:06 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Monday.

In other police news from last weekend:

  • A Chanticleer Road resident reported his mailbox was damaged on Dec. 26 by what he thought was a snowplow in the neighborhood. The resident decided to come forward after reading about recent vandalism cases in town.
  • Officers responded to a Greystone Lane residence for a report of a domestic dispute. The dispute was verbal in nature. Peace was restored and the matter was resolved given the circumstances, Nix said.
