Framingham Woman Arrested on Warrant in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Aug. 8 resulted in the arrest of a Framingham woman.

About about 5:50 p.m., an officer on patrol on Concord Road witnessed a motor vehicle with defective equipment, Lt. Robert Grady said.

After the officer pulled over the vehicle and completed an investigation, Crissy Waleska Mejia-Grant, 26, of 29 Marian Road, was arrested for having a warrant out from Ashland.

According to Grady, the warrant was for larceny by check under $250.

Mejia-Grant was released at 8:14 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Aug. 9.

In other police news from Aug. 8:

  • Officers responded to a one-car accident on Dutton Road. The motorist hit a utility pole and there was airbag deployment. NSTAR and Verizon were called to check on the pole. The car was towed. No injuries were reported.
  • A person on Boston Post Road reported his car was scratched on both doors and the hood.
  • A caller on North Road reported hearing gunshots near Davis Field. Responding officers were unable to find anything.
