A customer of a Sudbury gas station was prevented from leaving this week when an attendant tried to syphon gas from the car after over-filling her tank. The driver told police she asked for $20 worth of gas but was given $30. When she was unable to pay for the extra gas, the attendant put her car on a lift and tried to syphon $10 of gas. Police, who saw the car up on the lift, are waiting for a report from the Department of Weights and Measures before taking any action.
