Hit-and-Run Accident, Restraining Order Service and More from the Sudbury Police Log

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department on July 19-20:

  • A Fairbank Road resident reported seeing a suspicious car parked in the area. Nothing criminal was found.
  • Two motorists involved in a hit-and-run accident at Peakham and Hudson roads left the scene before officers could respond. The motorist who was allegedly hit reported the accident after arriving at his place of work, Lt. Robert Grady said. No injuries were reported but minor damage to one car was logged. 
  • Officers issued a restraining order to a resident on Brewster Road.
  • An officer on patrol on Boston Post Road witnessed a person walking in a poorly lit area. The officer transported the person into Marlborough where the lighting was better.
  • Officers responded to a two-car accident on Union Avenue. No injuries or tows were reported.
  • Officers were dispatched to Boston Post Road for a report of a loud party. The party-goers turned the music down.
