Holliston Man Arrested on Weapon Charge in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Oct. 19 resulted in the arrest of a Holliston resident.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road pulled over a motorist just before 5 p.m., after a plate check revealed the operator had a suspended license.

After the officer completed an investigation, Zeph Herman Pitt, 38, of 607 Marshall St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

During a check of Pitt's car, the officer found a dagger and added a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon.

Pitt was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Oct. 21.

In other police news from Oct. 19-20:

  • A resident on Old Lancaster Road reported an alleged larceny. According to Grady, the resident's house is for sale and recently he noticed several items missing from the home. Grady said the estimated value of the items is almost $20,000. Grady said it is not known if the alleged larceny happened during a showing of the home or during an open house.
  • Officers responded to Lincoln Road for a report of a one-car accident. No injuries were reported.
  • An Allan Avenue resident reported a youth damaged a trail camera at the corner of his property. Grady said there was some visible damage and a lock was cut off.
