Homeless Man Arrested on Warrant, Other Charge in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Sudbury Police Department was made aware of the location of a man wanted on a warrant from Marlborough on Aug. 27.

Just before 5:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to 655 Boston Post Road.

Peter T. MacDonald, 53, who Lt. Robert Grady said was homeless, was arrested on the warrant. That charge was assault with a dangerous weapon, Grady said.

Sudbury police also charged MacDonald with failure to appear upon recognizance. 

MacDonald was held overnight and was arraigned at Framingham District Court on Aug. 28.

In other police news from Aug. 27:

  • Officers responded to Boston Post Road for a report of a woman walking in traffic and yelling. Officers assisted the woman in seeking a ride out of town.
  • A Boston Post Road business owner reported damage was done to an exhaust vent outside the building.
  • Officers respnoded to Nobscot Road for a report of a three-car accident. No injuries were reported. One driver was cited for following too close.
