Hudson Road Resident Reports House Break, Theft of Jewelry

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The is investigating two new larceny cases, including one that involved a housebreak on Hudson Road.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, the Hudson Road resident said the housebreak happened some time on Tuesday, and that jewelry was stolen.

"Nothing else appeared to be touched," Grady said.

The specific items and the value of them were not known as of Friday morning. Grady said the resident was in the process of making a list.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in that neighborhood that could be related to the break, they are asked to call 978-443-1042.

The other larceny case being investigated is believed to have happened at

A resident reported she thinks her debit card was stolen while dining at the restaurant.

The resident said she has noticed unauthorized transactions on her account of more than $300.

In other police news from Thursday:

  • A female called Sudbury police at 12:59 a.m. while inside a Boston Post Road business to report seeing a male subject riding a bike around the buildings. The subject was not found when the officer arrived. The officer assisted the female to her car.
  • Officers responded to a three-car accident on Boston Post Road at 1:26 p.m. There were no injuries and no cars were towed from the scene.
